We are HANGRY!
No child should go hungry this summer!
Thousands of school age children in our community are about to begin summer break, though more than 1 in 4 will not have access to nutritious meals during these months. While it should be an exciting time for these students, childhood hunger is an unfortunate reality for many who rely on free meals during the school year.
In an effort to help fill this summer "meal gap," Quality Care for Children (QCC) is launching its annual Hangry Campaign to provide free nutritious meals to children in need through its Summer Food Program. Hangry = Hungry + Angry. We are angry that childhood hunger exists in Georgia and we are hungry for change!
With help from donors like yourself, Quality Care for Children was able to provide 32,964 nutritious meals to more than 1,000 children in our community last summer!
